Obolon's head coach Valeriy Ivashchenko commented on the 0-2 defeat to Vorskla in the 3rd round of the Ukrainian championship.
"The moment with the canceled goal because of the alleged handball? As for me, there was no hand. All of Ukraine is calling and writing now: "The clean goal was canceled". I just want to ask: "How is it interpreted?". We have had so many such matches. We played Kovalivka in the first round - they also waved their hand, looked at it - nothing. We played against Oleksandriya, and he also had a clean hand at the end of the last championship. I don't know how many such moments are interpreted. And everything is not in our favor. It seems like such moments are specially chosen.
Of course, if we had scored the ball, we could have turned the tide somewhere. What questions do you have for the guys? Well done, they played well. They struck a lot of shots, but the accuracy suffers. In fact, the opposing team had one chance in the first half, but we didn't finish it, and that's it. We tried, we took enough shots, but the ball did not want to go in.
Of course, such situations are frustrating when people decide the outcome of the match - I mean the referees. They decide for themselves, and it breaks down somewhere, of course. So it's hard to say anything here. It would be good if there was some consistency. Is that all you can comment on? The whole of Ukraine is laughing: "Why?" Well, that's how it is," Ivashchenko said.
