Shakhtar central defender Marlon has been granted a free agent status and is looking for a new club, according to the Brazilian publication Globo Esporte.

Negotiations on the signing of an agreement between the clubs and the player are not underway. The 28-year-old Marlon is without a contract and can join a new team even after the transfer window closes.
The publication claims that Marlon activated one of FIFA's mechanisms to terminate the agreement with the Ukrainian club because of the Russian-Ukrainian war.
