Barcelona midfielder Ilkay Gundogan had a great season last year, but he may leave the club this summer despite having a year left on his contract.
Spanish publication Sport reports that the 33-year-old has already informed the Catalans of his desire to leave. Gundogan was not included in the team's application for the first match of the Primera Division with Valencia, but head coach Hansi Flick explained this by injury.
The main contenders for Gundogan's signature are clubs from Saudi Arabia and Turkey. The new coach of Fenerbahce, Jose Mourinho, is particularly interested and is working hard to secure the German's transfer.
