Bayern Munich goalkeeper Manuel Neuer has announced the end of his international career with the German national team.
Manuel Neuer (photo: rp-online.de)"Thank you, Germany!" the 38-year-old goalkeeper wrote on social media. He has been playing for the Bundesliga since 2009, becoming the team's number one goalkeeper for a year. For fifteen years, he passed this status to someone else only when he was injured.
Currently, Marc-Andre ter Stegen from Barcelona will be the main goalkeeper of the German national team in the upcoming Nations League and 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
