Roberto Morales, a well-known Ukrainian journalist and commentator, has prepared a forecast for the first match of the Conference League playoffs between Kryvbas and Betis.
"Kryvbas' two league victories were difficult. There were a lot of questions about the match against Chornomorets (1-0), and the refusal to give an interview after the game against Veres (2-0) is evidence of both fatigue and irritation of the team. Everything was just as nervous in the match against Karpaty, in which the score of 3-0 in favor of Lviv may not have been completely logical, but Kryvyi Rih did not play for a normal result for the entire match (not the first 30 minutes).
Yuriy Vernydub's team played the first match against Victoria Pilsen more or less purposefully, although they lost 1-2. But in the second match, Kryvbas demonstrated only discipline, letting a physically strong opponent drag them into a power play and conceding after a single serious mistake, but they did not force the opponent to make any mistakes at all - 0: 1.
"Betis played Girona to a 1-1 draw at the start, but Sevilla were stronger than their opponent. Obviously, Manuel Pellegrini did not force the preparation, but the level of tone allows us to feel confident.
The Spaniards do not think about Kryvbas, they are focused on strengthening. They want to rent Youssouf Moukoko, who wants to go to Benito Vigamarin, but there is a problem with Dortmund. Alternative targets are Juventus' Arkadiusz Milik, Barcelona's Vitor Roque and Villarreal's Arnaud Danjuma.
"The bet is a minimum victory for Betis," Morales said.
