On Friday, August 23, Dynamo U-19 played a match of the 4th round of the Ukrainian Youth Championship. Igor Kostiuk's wards met with Vorskla Poltava. After three away matches, our team played this match at home, it took place on the field of the NTB Dynamo in Vita-Litovska.

It should be noted that after three rounds, Dynamo scored seven points and were in third place in the standings, while Vorskla had one point and was in 13th place.
Dynamo made a confident start to the match and by the 12th minute were leading 3-0, creating a comfortable advantage. First, after a throw-in by Andriyko, Matkevych took the ball and scored from the goal line - 1-0. Later, Dynamo continued to take the initiative and soon increased their advantage. Osypenko accelerated the attack in the center of the field, passed to the left to Dykyi - the goalkeeper dealt with his shot, but Andriyko was the first to finish and doubled his team's advantage with a shot from the right corner of the goal area - 2: 0.
A minute later, Matkevych received a cross from the middle of the field and confidently realized his chance, hitting the bottom of the goalie's header - 3: 0. After that, Vorskla's goalkeeper Grechko dealt with Salenko's shot, and Gerich scored from a favorable position just above the goal.
In the middle of the half, the game calmed down somewhat, with Dynamo creating tension at the other team's goal mainly after set pieces and flankers. Salenko, Osypenko and Andriyko had opportunities to increase the score, but either our players lacked accuracy or the Poltava defense was reliable. During this time, Vorskla came close to Surkis's possession only a few times, and the guests' actions did not pose any particular danger.
At the opposite goal, the opposing goalkeeper coped with the shots of Osipenko and Gerich, and the visitors' defenders were able to fight back after the corner kick.
In the second half, Dynamo also played the game according to their dictation, they regularly posed a threat at the other team's goal both after standard positions and after game combinations. Andriyko made a great header into the corner, Osypenko made a good shot, but each time our players lacked just a little bit. In the middle of the second half, there were few dangerous moments at the gates of both teams. Dynamo's flanks were active, and in one of the episodes after a cross into the penalty area from a standard on the left flank, Lobko won the upper struggle, but the ball after his header flew just above the goal.
Soon after, the same Lobko found himself in a striking position, but was unable to beat Grechko, who coped with his attempt to score and took the ball away. At the end of the half, Lobko was again close to scoring, but this time Vitaliy was unlucky. Until the final whistle, the spectators did not see any more goals scored, so in the end, 3:0 - a confident victory for the White and Blues.
It should be noted that Dynamo U-19 will play its next match in the youth championship at home - in the 5th round our team will host Cherkasy LNZ.
