Oleh Holodyuk, the former head coach of Kharkiv's Metalist 1925, has been appointed coach of Lviv's Karpaty youth team, the green-and-whites' press service reports.
- "This is a very responsible mission for me, because it's Karpaty. My coaching dream has come true. I am grateful for the trust of the club's management - now everything will depend on me and the players. We will try to do our best to ensure that most of the youth team players are in the green and white team.
My coaching staff is in the process of being formed. Denys Kozhanov and Andriy Sapuga will help me in my work. Denys has worked with these guys and I must admit that they are in great shape. I would not be here without him. I should thank Denys for keeping the players in good shape. They are ready for the championship. The main task is for these guys to play in the first team in the future. Of course, the result will also matter - we want to win every game," said Holodyuk after his appointment.
