The world champion in the Ukrainian U-20 national team will leave Karpaty

Lviv's Karpaty are not counting on midfielder Maksym Chekh.

According to Sport.ua, the midfielder is not in the plans of the team's coach Vladyslav Lupashko. The club plans to terminate the contract with Cech. The player will receive free agent status.

In 2019, Cech won the U-20 World Cup as part of the Ukrainian national team. In the summer of 2023, Cech joined Karpaty as a free agent from Shakhtar.

Transfermarkt estimates the player at 250 thousand euros. Last season, Czech played 18 matches for Karpaty in the First League and scored 1 goal.
