Former head coach of the England national team and many clubs Sven-Joran Eriksson has died at the age of 77.

Eriksson was born in Sweden in 1948. As a footballer, he played for several clubs in his homeland as a defender in 1966-1975. In addition to Sweden, he worked as a coach in Italy, England, Portugal, Mexico, Ivory Coast, China and the Philippines. He won 18 trophies in his career. In the last period of his life, he fought cancer.
