Newcastle midfielder Sandro Tonali will be able to play in the League Cup match against Nottingham. The midfielder returns to the game after serving a 10-month suspension for illegal betting.
"He will definitely be in the team. Tonali is in good shape, he just hasn't had any playing time. He has worked incredibly hard to be at the top of his fitness. He had a lot of time to analyze his life. Now he's just back to doing what he loves. I want Sandro to come back and enjoy his game," Magpies head coach Eddie Howe told the club's press service.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Tonali will be called up to the Italian national team for the Nations League matches against France and Israel in September.
