I think it has become obvious to everyone that Dynamo needs another striker. In reality, the coaching staff can only fully rely on Vladislav Vant. This is not enough for the UPL and the Europa League. We need rotation, strengthening the attack during the match, injuries...
Formally, Vladyslav Supryaha is the team's second forward. Unfortunately, Supryaha hasn't been able to prove himself yet. In the match against Veres, he had his moments but did not score. He did not impress at all in the Champions League qualifiers. Oleksandr Shovkovskyi sent Nazar Voloshyn to the front of the attack when it was necessary to strengthen the attacking line.
Matvey Ponomarenko is not yet ready for adult football. He is only 18 years old. He needs a gradual transition, step by step. Matvey cannot play right away.
It is very difficult to invite a foreigner now. Everyone understands that there is a war in Ukraine. You have to overpay. It is not a fact that it will be of any use later. The transfer of Oleksandr Pikhalenko showed that it is possible to look for reinforcements in Ukraine. Not all the money in the world can buy players who are already adapted and ready to strengthen the team right away.
Maksym Bragaru also shows that he was not taken to Dynamo for nothing. Maxim's speed is quite well developed.
In contrast, legionnaire Brian Ceballos has not yet played in official matches for Dynamo. The Colombian defender needs time to adapt. He was supposed to be recruited to strengthen the team right away, but the reality turned out to be a little different.
Therefore, the domestic market for strengthening looks like a pretty real story. We can and should look for players here. This applies to both Ukrainians and legionnaires.
There is a lot of talk about Eduardo Guerrero. But so far, everything remains at the level of rumors. The Panamanian striker continues to play for Zorya. The arrival of Pylyp Budkivsky to the team hints that Guerrero may leave, but it is not yet clear where. There is a lot of talk about the Panamanian's tough temper. "Dynamo has a good team now, the atmosphere within the team is great.
I honestly don't understand why they didn't pay attention to Ihor Krasnopir. Last season, the guy showed himself very well in the Ukrainian youth team, where he became the main striker. Krasnopir has the skills for a central striker, a goal-scoring flair. He can play equally well in a positional attack or as a second striker. He knows how to use space, as in the case of the third goal against Zorya. I witnessed Rukh's match against Obolon. Ihor scored the second goal very well when he developed the defender in the penalty area. He feels good in the positional attack.
Krasnopir already has 4 goals in 4 matches. We all understand that it is not easy to score for Rukh, because the team's class is not so high, plus there are enough injured players. Bravo to the management of the Lviv team, who saw the potential in Krasnopir. They paid 500 thousand euros for the player. Now the price has increased very seriously. Ihor proved himself at the Olympics and at the start of the UPL. This is an asset that can be sold for a lot of money after a while. Next summer, the price may already be 3-5 million euros.
Why look in Latin America, go through the options in Europe, listen to Yevhen Gellar's "wants" for 4 million euros, if the young player was under our noses. I just had to take a look, to see. The transfer amount of 500 thousand is not a big deal for Dynamo. It would have been much easier for Krasnopir to join the Ukrainian team of Kyiv. There would have been no swings with language, war, adaptation. Igor would have been a great addition to Vanat at the forefront of the attack.
My prediction: this season, Ihor Krasnopir will compete with Vladyslav Vanat and Danylo Sikan for the title of the UPL's top scorer and will score at least 11-12 goals in the UPL.
