Dynamo Kyiv defender Vladyslav Dubinchak commented on his team's 1-0 home victory over LNZ Cherkasy in yesterday's match of the 5th round of the Ukrainian championship.
- I think it was the fact that we were on a long tour, 55 days away from home. After returning, we didn't even have a little time to adapt, to adjust, because living in hotels and living at home with our families are completely different things. Perhaps we were a little tired, emotionally stressed. I don't want to justify us, everyone is in this situation. But maybe it affected our not very confident game.
- There were a lot of flank attacks that the opponent met with toughness. Did they not overdo it in this component?
- This is Ukrainian football, everyone is used to it. There is nothing like that here. Fatigue had a bigger impact. I can say about myself that I was very tired, not like myself. I usually move a lot, open up a lot, but today it was not enough.
- Valentyn Rubchynskyi made his debut for Dynamo. How did he manage to fit into the team?
- I congratulate him on his debut! He is a very good guy, modest. Everyone in the team will help him. I am very happy for him.
- What are your plans for the international break?
- I hope we will be given a few days off. I want to spend more time with my family - my son, my wife, because I have not been home for almost two months. We need to rest a little bit, and after the weekend we will get ready for the next games.
