Kryvbas Kryvyi Rih vice president Artem Gagarin commented on the situation around the match of the 5th round of the Ukrainian championship with Shakhtar, which was interrupted and postponed:
Artem Gagarin- "There is no official information yet on the date when we and Shakhtar can finish the match that was interrupted by an inadequate neighbor. But we are confident that it can be done this year on one of the reserve dates. The nearest ones are September 18 or 25. On the first date, Shakhtar plays the Champions League opening match against Bologna, the 21st is the base date of the UPL and the Miners host Obolon, and on the 25th we can easily finish our match in Kryvyi Rih.
We understand that Shakhtar will have an average of 1 match per 4 days during that period, but we played at this pace throughout August. For the same game with the Orange and Blacks, we arrived in Kryvyi Rih from Seville the day before the match. And nothing - we played. Moreover, both before and after the 25th (Shakhtar play Veres on the 28th), Donetsk have matches in Ukraine, not abroad, and this simplifies logistics.
I am sure that Shakhtar will also be happy with this date, because we will play with the same lineups as much as possible and it will be fair. And in general, they are a powerful team with a "long bench" and they are no stranger to such a pace.
