Portuguese Benfica, after announcing the dismissal of Roger Schmidt as head coach, has already found a new mentor.

Bruno Laji

According to journalist Nicolo Schira, Benfica are close to appointing Bruno Laghi as the new head coach of the team.

Note that Laji has previously led Benfica - in the season 2019/2020, but then moved to work in the English Wolverhampton.
