Today, the world has seen several famous people who have closely connected their lives with football:
Serhiy Kovalets (1968) is a former Ukrainian football player and now a coach. At one time, he defended the colors of Dynamo Kyiv, Karpaty Lviv, Dnipro, and Twente in the Netherlands. Champion and winner of the USSR Cup. Two-time champion and winner of the Ukrainian Cup. He played 10 matches for the Ukrainian national team and did not score any goals. After his career as a football player, Kovalets took up coaching.
Serhiy Nagornyak (1971) is a former Ukrainian striker who worked as an assistant to Myron Markevych at Dnipro. In his time, he defended the colors of many clubs, including Spartak Moscow, Dnipro Dnipro, Shakhtar Donetsk and several teams from China. Nagornyak played 14 matches for the Ukrainian national team, scoring no goals.
Oleksandr Sevidov (1921-1992) was a former football player who played as a striker and later a football coach. He is known for his work as a coach at Dynamo Kyiv, Moscow, and Minsk. As a coach, he became a two-time champion and winner of the USSR Cup. Oleksandr Oleksandrovych's son Yurii was also a football player and coach.
Leonardo (1969) is a former Brazilian footballer who played as a midfielder. He became a world champion in 1994. He played for AC Milan, Valencia, PSG and many domestic clubs. He played 60 matches for the Brazilian national team, scoring 8 goals. After his career, he became a coach. He headed Inter Milan and AC Milan. Most recently, he worked as a sporting director at the French club PSG. Leonardo is fluent in Portuguese, Italian, English and French.
