Today in one of the matches of the 1st round of the Nations League the national teams of Kosovo and Romania will play. This match will be the first for the Romanian national team under the leadership of the new head coach, former Dynamo Kyiv coach Mircea Lucescu.
On the eve of the meeting, Kosovo head coach Franco Foda said he knew how to win this game.
"We had enough sources of information to analyze the game of the Romanian national team, we also had the matches of this team at Euro 2024 at our disposal.
After the European Championship everything has changed in the Romanian national team, there is a new coach. But we know what we need to do to win. We know the offensive, defensive details of the Romanian national team, as well as its counterattacking strategies. We have prepared very well," Foda said at the pre-match press conference.
Interestingly, bookmakers consider Kosovo the favorite in the match with Romania: bets on the victory of the hosts are accepted at odds of 2.31, while the quote for the success of the guests is 3.32.
