Dutch midfielder Steven Bergewijn, who recently left Ajax to join Saudi Arabian side Al-Ittihad, responded to Dutch national team coach Ronald Koeman's criticism.
Stephen Bergwein"I don't even want to play for Koeman anymore. I won't play for someone who portrays me the way he did in the media. He could have called me, heard my side of the story. How can he say such things without talking to me?" the Sport Arena telegram channel quoted Bergwein as saying.
It will be recalled that Koeman criticized the 26-year-old for choosing to continue his career in Saudi Arabia and said that he would no longer call him up to the Dutch national team.
