The UPL management has made a decision on the scandalous situation with Ingulets, whose president Oleksandr Povorozniuk plans to withdraw the team from the competition due to the ban on playing in the new stadium.
"As far as I know, a meeting was held between the clubs today, which lasted less than an hour online. We discussed the situation with the application of the club from Petrovo to withdraw from the competition.
It was decided to offer Ingulets an alternative to play this home match, but at another stadium. Or they could change its status to an away game and play Chornomorets in Odesa. All the previous 5 rounds, Petrivka played away from home by prior arrangement.
If Oleksandr Povorozniuk stands his ground and does not consider any other option but to play at the newly built stadium, the UPL will have no choice but to accept the fact that the team has been withdrawn from the season," former journalist Ihor Burbas wrote on his Telegram channel.
