The official website of the Ukrainian Premier League has completed the traditional poll to determine the best in the Ukrainian championship at the end of the month: in this case - at the end of August.
Photo — upl.uaThis time the best player of the UPL was midfielder of Zhytomyr "Polesya" Oleksandr Nazarenko, who got 41% of votes. Oleksandr Pikhalenok (Dynamo) - 34.5% of votes, Kyrylo Kovalets (Oleksandriya) - 12.6% and Igor Krasnopyr (Ruh) - 11.9%.
In the poll for the best UPL coach in September, the winner was Ruslan Rotan, the coach of Oleksandriya, who got 31.7% of votes. He was ahead of Oleksandr Shovkovskiy (Dynamo) - 31.3% of votes, Imad Ashur (Polesie) - 29.3% and Vitaliy Ponomaryov (Rukh) - 7.7%.
We would like to add that the determination of the best player and coach of the month is held in two stages. First, media representatives name their contenders in both nominations. At the second stage, an open poll is held on the official website of the UPL, where everyone can vote for both the player and the coach.
