The Opta supercomputer has analyzed Shakhtar Donetsk's prospects in the main stage of the Champions League using artificial intelligence technology.
More than 10,000 simulations were conducted, and they showed that the Pitmen's chances of reaching the playoffs are practically zero: the Ukrainian team is assigned only 34th final place in the league out of 36 teams.
At the same time, the probability that Shakhtar will manage to reach the Champions League 1/8 finals is only 3.9%.
The main favorite of the tournament is considered to be English Manchester City, which is assigned the final first place in the main stage. The second is Real Madrid, and the third is Italian Inter.
