On Friday, September 13, Dynamo U-19 played a match of the 6th round of the Ukrainian Youth Championship. Ihor Kostiuk's wards met with Luhansk's Zorya. This match, although it was an away match for our team, took place on the field of the NTB Dynamo in Koncha Zaspa.

It should be noted that after five rounds, Dynamo scored 13 points and were in second place in the standings, while Zorya gained 10 points and was in 4th place.
Dynamo started the match with a predictably active start and seized the initiative from the first minutes. Dangerous moments near the Luhansk goal arose regularly. Matkevych, Kremchanin and Redushko were in striking positions, but our players lacked accuracy. Perhaps the closest to scoring was Peikrishvili, but he was a little unlucky. In short, Luhansk coped with the initial pressure of the nominal guests, and once even managed to create tension at Surkis' goal, but after a low shot, our goalkeeper confidently took the ball in his hands in a jump.
In general, Dynamo had a significant advantage in both possession and the number of dangerous chances created, but for a while Zorya managed to deal with threats near their own possession. Finally, Peikrishvili earned a dangerous free kick near the penalty area, and Matkevych approached the ball and sent the ball into the net with a great shot - 1-0 in favor of the White and Blues.
Subsequently, Kremchanin broke through on the right flank, moved to the center, but missed the near corner. Salenko shot weakly in the center - the goalkeeper made the save. The active Peikrishvili also threatened Kosivskyi's possession, but his shot was weak and did not pose much danger.
In the last minute of the first half, Zorya managed to equalize: the opponents took the ball away near Dynamo's penalty area, Burda gave a promising pass to Yaroshenko, who struck a powerful shot from the right corner, which Surkis managed. But the ball bounced back to Yaroshenko, and he scored on the second attempt to make it 1-1.
In the second half, Dynamo continued to have the initiative and the ball, but failed to get too close to the opponents' goal. Salenko struck a powerful shot from outside the penalty area, but it was a bit inaccurate. But very soon Kremchanin managed to score. The goal was again scored from a standard position, and again it was awarded near the semicircle in front of the penalty area. This time, Kremchanin approached the ball and did not miss, putting his team ahead with a great shot into the corner of the goal - 1-2.
Almost immediately, Andriyko almost scored after Osipenko's pass, but from a favorable position outside the penalty area he failed to hit the target. Meanwhile, at the opposite goal, Kyiv made their fans worry during a standard position: after Dubyna's shot, the ball flew near the post.
And how Gerich managed not to score from a great position after Osipenko brought him to the goal was probably a mystery to him. Before the final whistle, Dynamo were close to scoring more than once, but they failed to convert any more chances into goals. So in the end, it was a narrow 2-1 victory for Kyiv.
It should be noted that Dynamo U-19 will play its next match in the youth championship at home: in a week, on August 20, our team will host Lviv Rukh in the 7th round.
