Ukrainian coach Yuriy Maksymov turned down two offers from Azerbaijani clubs on favorable financial terms.
Yuriy Maksymov (photo: scdnipro1.com.ua)In the summer, the specialist was also shortlisted for the position of head coach of the Azerbaijani national team. However, Maksymov refused all offers: the coach does not want to leave Ukraine and is waiting for offers from local clubs.
We will remind, the last place of work of the specialist was Dnipro-1, where Maksymov worked since September 2023. Under his leadership, the team finished the 2023/2024 season in fourth place in the UPL.
