Journalist Andriy Senkiv expressed his opinion on the game of Dynamo under Oleksandr Shovkovsky.
"Despite the expenses of recent years, right now Shakhtar are losing to Dynamo. In every sense. Personnel, coaching, playing. You have a lot of money, a much-vaunted management, and many years of experience, but in the end, both on paper and in practice, you are worse. It's paradoxical.
Surkis was absolutely right about Shovkovsky - Dynamo's performance is perhaps the only thing that pleases in our football right now. Work in the transfer market is logical, balanced and understandable. We find leaders among the youngsters who are promoted to the first team (like Mikhavko).
The same cannot be said about today's Shakhtar. A problematic, static team with a structure that doesn't work - it resembles the Ukrainian national team as much as possible. Since it is difficult to predict the changes that will take place in the teams during the season, Dynamo's favoritism in the Ukrainian championship right now is obvious," Senkiv said.
