Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti has dismissed criticism of his team's lackluster style, saying that winning is more important than playing well.
- "Real Madrid fans prefer winning to a good game. Criticism doesn't bother me because I see that the fans are happy. We can play better, but the fans are used to our style. We try to make the fans happy.
Ideally, of course, everything is desirable - both winning and playing attractive football, but our main goal is to please our fans, who are very demanding. So we will focus on winning because we know that the whole team is still far from perfect," said the coach ahead of Sunday's La Liga match at home against Espanyol.
