The Control and Disciplinary Committee of the Ukrainian Football Association (UAF CDC) has made a number of decisions following the events that took place immediately after last season's Shakhtar U-19 vs Dynamo U-19 youth championship match (1-2) on May 10, 2024. It will be recalled that the head coach of the Donetsk team, Oleksiy Belik, hit the head of the Dynamo children's and youth school, 70-year-old Oleksandr Ishchenko, and a clash broke out between the players.
Here is the full text of the decisions of the UAF SCC regarding this incident:
- Having reviewed the materials on possible violations during and after the match of the 28th round of the U-19 UPL Championship of Ukraine Shakhtar (Donetsk) - Dynamo (Kyiv), which took place on May 10, 2024, obliged FC Shakhtar Donetsk to pay a mandatory monetary contribution in the amount of UAH 100,000 (one hundred thousand) and to hold the next match without fans (for FC Shakhtar Donetsk's failure to comply with the requirements of the Additional Security Measures for Organizing and Holding Football Matches in Ukraine under Martial Law, namely, to hold a match without spectators);
obliged FC Shakhtar Donetsk to pay a mandatory cash contribution in the amount of UAH 25,000 (twenty-five thousand) (for the unauthorized presence of unauthorized persons in the playing area);
obliged FC Shakhtar Donetsk to pay a compulsory cash contribution in the amount of UAH 25,000 (twenty-five thousand) (for making offensive chants);
obliged FC Shakhtar Donetsk to pay a mandatory cash contribution in the amount of UAH 2,500 (two thousand five hundred) (for the use of pyrotechnics by fans in the amount of five (5) units);
suspended the head coach of FC Shakhtar Donetsk U-19 Oleksiy Belik from participation in the competition for three (3) matches (for violent behavior);
imposed a sanction in the form of a warning on FC Shakhtar Donetsk player Anton Demchenko (for non-compliance with the UAF Code of Ethics and Fair Play, namely, showing respect for colleagues, opponents, employees of football structures, etc;
imposed a sanction on FC Shakhtar Donetsk player Arseniy-Tymofiy Trokhym in the form of a warning (for non-compliance with the requirements of the UAF Code of Ethics and Fair Play, namely, showing respect for colleagues, opponents, employees of football organizations, etc;
obliged the football player of FC Dynamo (Kyiv) Vyacheslav Surkis to pay a mandatory monetary contribution in the amount of UAH 5,000 (five thousand) (for provocative actions that led to a disturbance on the football field);
obliged Oleksandr Ishchenko, Director of the Dynamo Kyiv Children's and Youth Sports School, to pay a mandatory fine of UAH 5,000 (five thousand) (for provocative actions by a club official);
imposed a sanction in the form of a warning on Serhiy Mokhnyk, Deputy General Director of FC Dynamo (Kyiv) (for non-compliance with the UAF Code of Ethics and Fair Play, namely, showing respect for colleagues, opponents, etc;)
suspended FC Dynamo Kyiv player Nazar Ivaskiv from participation in competitions for 3 (three) matches (for violent behavior);
obliged FC Shakhtar Donetsk to pay a mandatory monetary contribution in the amount of UAH 100,000 (one hundred thousand) (for behavior that harms the reputation of football);
obliged FC Dynamo (Kyiv) to pay a compulsory cash contribution in the amount of UAH 100,000 (one hundred thousand) (for behavior harmful to the reputation of football).
