Real Madrid midfielder Federico Valverde has named the player without whom the "royal club" would not have won the 2022 Champions League final.
Federico Valverde- "We suffered a lot in that match. It seemed like it should have been an easy game, but Courtois decided everything. If Thibaut hadn't been in goal in that match, we would have lost that final," said Federico Valverde.
It will be recalled that in the final of the 2022 Champions League, Real Madrid narrowly defeated Liverpool thanks to a goal by Vinicius Junior. In that match, Thibaut Courtois proved to be incredible, making nine saves.
