One of Real Madrid's top transfer targets for next summer is Bayer Leverkusen star Florian Wirz, DailySports reports.
According to Christian Falk, Bayer is demanding at least 150 million euros for Wirtz. If the Madrid club decides to pay this amount, it will be the most expensive transfer in the club's history.
The current transfer record of the "creamy ones" is the signing of Eden Hazard from Chelsea in 2019 for 120.8 million euros. The top three also includes Jude Bellingham's transfer from Borussia Dortmund for €113 million and Gareth Bale's transfer from Tottenham for €101 million in 2013.
For context, the most expensive transfer in the history of football is Neymar's move from Barcelona to PSG for 222 million euros.
