Aleksandar Stanojevic, the head coach of Partizan Belgrade, was in trouble after his team's defeat in yesterday's derby with Red Star (0:4) in the Serbian championship.
Angry fans of the Black and Whites threw stones and other objects at the team's locker room, as a result of which Stanojevic suffered minor facial injuries, which could be seen at the post-match press conference. The coach has at least an abrasion above his eyebrow and on his nose.
We should add that the fans were raging before the match: they set fire to the soccer field and scattered broken glass on the lawn.
The discontent of Partizan fans is related to the failure of their club this season. Against the background of three consecutive Eurocup exits (from Dynamo Kyiv in the Champions League, from Lugano in the Europa League and from Ghent in the Conference League), the winless streak of Stanojevic's team has already reached 8 matches (5 defeats, 3 draws).
