The Opta supercomputer has analyzed the prospects of Dynamo Kyiv in the main stage of the Europa League with the help of artificial intelligence technology.
More than 10 thousand simulations were conducted, and they showed that the chances of Kyiv team to reach the playoffs of the tournament are small: the Ukrainian team is assigned only the 30th final place in the league out of 36 teams.
Recall, according to the tournament regulations, the first 8 teams of the main stage of the Europa League directly go to the 1/8 finals of the tournament, and the remaining tickets to this stage will be played in the knockout matches among the teams that will take places from 9th to 24th.
According to the supercomputer forecast, the probability that Dynamo will reach the Europa League 1/8 finals is 23.1%, the quarterfinals - 7.3%, the semifinals - 2.2%, the finals - 0.6%.
The main favorite of the tournament is considered to be Portuguese "Porto", which is given the final first place in the main stage with a probability of 17.8% to become the winner of the tournament. Spain's Athletic (10.9%) is listed second, while Slavia Prague (9.6%) is third.
As for the prospects of Dynamo's opponents in the main stage of the Europa League, the supercomputer put Roma on the final 5th place, Lazio - on the 7th, Galatasaray - on the 8th, Real Sociedad - on the 9th, Hoffenheim - on the 18th, Victoria - on the 19th, Ferencvaros - on the 31st.
