Former Real Madrid defender Rafael Varane has officially announced his retirement. The player announced this on the social network Instagram.
"They say that all good things come to an end. In my career, I have taken on many challenges, climbed to the top, and almost all of it seemed impossible. Incredible emotions, special moments and memories that will last a lifetime. Remembering these moments, it is with great pride and a sense of accomplishment that I announce my retirement from the game we all love," Rafael Varane wrote on Instagram.
It will be recalled that in the summer, the 31-year-old defender moved to Como from Manchester United as a free agent. In the first match for the new team, the Frenchman was injured and out for the rest of the season. After that, Raphael Varane finally decided to end his career.
