Ukrainian goalkeeper David Fesyuk has signed a new two-year deal with Croatian side Hajduk.
As a result, the 19-year-old goalkeeper has become the highest-paid young player of the Croatian giant.
David's annual income will be 60 thousand euros per year, excluding bonuses. The goalkeeper will also receive a service apartment in the center of Split.
In the summer, Fesyuk had interest from Spanish, Italian and English clubs. The player's contract was valid until the end of the calendar year. But he decided to stay at Hajduk. The first-team coach, the legendary Italian Gennaro Gattuso, is impressed with David's speed and reaction. The coach believes that David can compete for the position of the team's main goalkeeper.
David Fesyuk has been playing for Haiduk since 2021. Prior to that, he played for the club's youth team, with which he won the Croatian championship and reached the UEFA Youth League final. He played 4 matches for the youth national team of Ukraine.
