FIFA plans to include futsal in the Olympic Games program. This is stated in the document entitled "Strategic goals for global football 2023-2027".
"Given the level of participation around the world, FIFA will propose that futsal and beach soccer be considered as separate football disciplines at the upcoming Olympic Games," the statement said.
As a reminder, futsal is not yet included in the program of the Olympic Games to be held in 2028 in Los Angeles.
