Former football player, coach and football official Anatoliy Konkov died today in the capital at the age of 76, the UAF reports.
Anatoly KonkovAnatoliy Dmytrovych was born in Luhansk region. He learned to play football in Kramatorsk. In 1968-1974, he played for Shakhtar Donetsk, then moved to Dynamo Kyiv, where he spent six years as a player, playing almost 200 matches in a white and blue shirt.
As a coach, Konkov has led several clubs and national teams, including the Ukrainian national team in 1995. From 2012 to 2015, he served as president of the Football Federation of Ukraine.
