Legendary Spanish midfielder Andrés Iniesta has announced that he has retired from football.

As a reminder, Iniesta gained worldwide fame while playing for Barcelona. As part of the Catalan giants, the Spaniard won 32 trophies (674 matches, 57 goals scored, 136 assists).
As a member of the Spanish national team, Iniesta won the European Championship (2008, 2012) and the World Cup (2010). He played 141 matches for the national team, scoring 14 goals and 30 assists.
