Obolon Kyiv midfielder Serhiy Sukhanov spoke about his team's preparations for the match against Dynamo Kyiv in the 10th round of the Ukrainian championship to be held on October 19 at Obolon Arena in Kyiv.

- We are working in a two-session schedule. The loads are good, I would say.
- How much harder is it for you personally to endure two training sessions instead of one?
- There is no difference: two or one. It's just that the coaching staff sees that we need to add more strength work somewhere, and they give it to us. We do it. And whether it's harder or not is secondary.
- The last round was against Chornomorets in Odesa. Unfortunately, we suffered such an unfortunate defeat (0:1) at the end of the match. Did you have time to analyze that match? Did you learn any mistakes from it?
- Yes, we had time to analyze it. We already had a theory about this match. What I can say is that we didn't score in the first 25 minutes, and then the opponent adjusted for the second half, came out with a different tactical scheme. We got a little bit hooked, so to speak. Then mistakes began, and the opponent acted more aggressively.
- Now there is a pause in the championship. On Saturday, we have a control match against Zorya at our arena. What is the purpose of this match? Will it help you prepare better for Dynamo?
- Of course, in order not to lose the game tone. At national team matches, they play such matches to get in better shape for the match against Dynamo. We also need this match. We will play it under pressure so that the coaching staff can evaluate it.
- Do you personally have a different mood for a friendly match and an official one?
- To be honest, I don't care about any match: friendly or not. I always want to win, so I don't have a special mood. Whether it's Dynamo or a friendly game, it doesn't matter. When you go on the field, you always have to give your best and show the result that is required of you.
- The next game is an official one, against Dynamo, here at the Obolon Arena. "Dynamo is currently the leader of the championship. Do you follow this team? What can you say about their form?
- Yes, I follow them, of course. They are a good team, what can I say. We will be preparing for the Kyiv derby and want to win this match to please our fans.
- Last fall, you played against Dynamo at home, and then your goal helped the team win. Is it realistic to score again, to repeat such a success?
- Everything is real. We need to tune in to this match and work as a team to get a positive result. I think we can do it.
- Can we say that that victory remains in your memory?
- We beat Dynamo 1-0, and that goal was the winner. Now we have to repeat it. We will do our best.
