Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola may extend his contract with the club for another year, the Telegraph newspaper reports.
According to the British newspaper, this is the most likely scenario, despite rumors that the Spaniard could take over the England national team. Guardiola's current contract with Manchester City is valid until the end of June 2025. The club's management is looking to sign a long-term deal with the specialist, but will be happy if the Spaniard signs for another year.
Guardiola has been in charge of Manchester City since July 2016. With the team, he became the English champion six times, won the League Cup four times, the Super Cup three times, and the Country Cup twice. The Spaniard has led the Citizens to titles in the Champions League, UEFA Super Cup and the Club World Cup.
