German specialist Thomas Tuchel has taken over the England national team, the press service of the Football Association of England reports.

"I am very proud to be honored to lead the England national team. I have long felt a personal connection to the game in this country. To have the chance to represent England is a huge privilege and to be able to work with this special and talented group of players is something incredible.
We will do everything we can to make England successful and the fans proud. I would like to thank the FA for their trust and I look forward to starting our journey together," said Tuchel.
