The legendary French footballer and coach Zinedine Zidane may soon take over Manchester United, according to the authoritative publication The Independent.
According to the source, Jean-Claude Blanc, CEO of Ineos, which is partially a co-owner of United, is in constant contact with Zidane. Blanc sees Zidane as the future coach of the team against the backdrop of recent unsuccessful results under ten Hag.
If the Dutch specialist is sacked in the near future, Zidane will be the favorite for the vacant position.
Earlier it was reported that ten Hag would lose his position if United loses the next two matches: in the English Championship to Brentford and Fenerbahce in the Europa League.
