Kolos Kovaliv midfielder Andriy Tsurikov commented on the team's defeat by Shakhtar in the 10th round of the Ukrainian championship.

Photo by koloskovalivka.com"We knew how Shakhtar would play, that they have players who control the ball well, and therefore we acted tightly in the middle block, counting on quick counterattacks. This plan worked, the hosts were in no way inferior to the champion and I am convinced that they at least deserved a draw. Unfortunately, it was not the first time that the realization failed, as we did not use several scoring chances.
Perhaps this was our best game this season, and it's a shame that we didn't get any dividends. There is nothing left but to train even harder and I hope that Kolos will make up for lost time," said Tsurikov.
