Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta commented on his team's 2-0 defeat to Bournemouth in the English Premier League.
"We're obviously very disappointed with the result and we're heartbroken because we had to play in a difficult situation. Playing 65 or 68 minutes with ten men at this level is very difficult. I can't blame the team for their lack of effort and commitment. Football is a sport where mistakes are part of the game, and today we made two big mistakes that unfortunately cost us points.
What will allow us to come to our senses? We need to use this pain that we feel now, on Tuesday in the Champions League match. This is the best way. We need to keep our energy up, these guys deserve it with the way they are trying. On Tuesday, we will take the field again to fight," Arsenal's official website quoted Arteta as saying.
It will be recalled that on Tuesday, October 22, Arsenal will host Shakhtar in the match of the 3rd round of the Champions League main round.
