Every day brings the world several famous people who have closely linked their lives with football.
Andriy Yarmolenko (1989) — forward for Dynamo and the national team of Ukraine. Previously played for Al Ain, London’s West Ham, and Dortmund’s Borussia. Primarily, Yarmolenko plays on the right flank of attack, but he can equally play on the left flank and in a withdrawn forward position. Before moving to Kyiv's Dynamo, Yarmolenko represented the colors of Chernihiv's Desna and Polissya (Dobryanka). Champion of Ukraine in 2008/09, 2014/15, 2015/16.
Rodolfo (1982) — former Brazilian footballer who played as a central defender. From 2004 to 2007, he played for Kyiv's Dynamo, after which he moved to Moscow's Lokomotiv. Rodolfo is famous for his powerful, well-placed long-range shot. In the Olympic team of Brazil, Rodolfo played 1 match and did not score any goals.
Pele (1940-2022) — legendary Brazilian footballer who played as a central forward. Played for the clubs Santos and New York Cosmos. Three-time world champion with the Brazil national team. Throughout his career, Pele scored over 1000 goals. He scored three goals in a match 90 times, four goals 30 times, five goals four times, and once scored 8 goals. He ranks first in the list of the greatest footballers of the 20th century according to World Soccer magazine. Player of the Century according to FIFA. In the Brazil national team, Pele played 90 matches and scored 77 goals.
