The Lviv "Rukh" lost the case in the Court of Arbitration for Sport in Lausanne (CAS) against its former midfielder Ivan Varfolomeev, who moved to the Czech "Slovan" from the city of Liberec in 2022. This was reported by well-known football manager Vyacheslav Zakhovaylo.

The court confirmed that Varfolomeev violated nothing in his transfer to 'Slovan'. FC 'Rukh' was ordered to pay forty thousand hryvnias in salary arrears to the player.
The court also confirmed that officials manipulated the situation surrounding the player, witnesses from FC 'Rukh' provided false testimony. A disciplinary proceeding may be opened on this matter in the Football Association of Ukraine," wrote Zakhovaylo on his Facebook page.
