Ukrainian midfielder of the Belgian club Westerlo, Serhiy Sydoruk, who lost his place in the starting lineup at the beginning of the season, finally got some playing time yesterday.
The 33-year-old footballer made it into the starting lineup of Westerlo for the Belgian Cup match against the second division club RVDM 47 (2:1).
This is Sydoruk's first appearance on the field since August 30: since then, he has missed seven matches for his team.
It is worth noting that this is the first time this season that the Ukrainian has made it into the starting lineup of Westerlo; previously, he had come on as a substitute twice at the very end of the game. In the match against RVDM 47, the Ukrainian was the captain of his team.
