The Ukrainian defender of London’s Arsenal, who recently recovered from a calf injury he sustained in the first half of September, returned to the football field yesterday.

The 27-year-old player made it into the starting lineup of the Gunners for the 4th round match of the English League Cup against Preston (3:0) and was substituted in the 62nd minute of the game.

It’s worth noting that Zinchenko last appeared on the field for Arsenal on August 31, in a Premier League match against Brighton.
