As already reported, the Bulgarian “Ludogorets” invited the current head coach of the Ukrainian national team, Sergey Rebrov, for cooperation, but he declined. At the same time, it turned out that the club was trying to acquire another Ukrainian specialist.
According to SportArena, “Ludogorets” considered inviting the coach of Kryvbas, Yuri Vernidub, for the head coach position. According to the publication, the management of the Bulgarian club highly values the work of this specialist. However, Vernidub himself did not enter into any discussions, being focused on his work at “Kryvbas.”
As a result, “Ludogorets” decided to choose Igor Yovichevich, who took over this team last September.
