Within the framework of signing a memorandum of cooperation between the Ukrainian Football Association and Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, UAF President Andriy Shevchenko held a meeting with students on October 25 at the red building of KNU.

During the meeting, Andriy Shevchenko presented the activities of the UAF, answered audience questions, and shared his vision of the role of youth in the development of the country and sport.
“It is very pleasant to be here today. First, I want to thank the boys and girls who are on the front line, protecting us and giving us the opportunity to gather here, study and contribute to the future of the country. Your university is of exceptional importance to Ukraine, and the contribution of its graduates is known throughout the world. Achievements in sport highlight the strength of Ukraine, creating a positive image in the world. Sport is more than competition. The activities of the UAF also go beyond what happens on the football field.
I am grateful to Volodymyr Buhrov for this meeting and the opportunity to sign the memorandum. Theoretical knowledge should be reinforced by practice. And I am happy to invite you to join in the development of football in Ukraine,” said Andriy Shevchenko to the students.
The memorandum envisages the exchange of experience and cooperation between the parties in the implementation of joint events and projects aimed at the development and popularization of sport, particularly football, and a healthy lifestyle. This is a great opportunity for young people who aspire to build a career in this field to join key UAF projects at the national and international level.
