The head coach of “Rukh”, Vitalii Ponomariov, explained the unstable performances of the Lviv team this season.
- After the last match with “Karpaty”, I said that there is a certain misunderstanding from the media regarding our team. The average age of the team is 21.5 years. It is very difficult to play at a certain level. Therefore, it is clear that there will be both good and unsuccessful matches, both for the team and for individual players. Today, 90% of the team consists of players who are still not formed. In tactical and mental terms, they are still not developed.
At this point, we cannot expect results from them in every match. We must be prepared for these moments, that the problem of young footballers is stability. It will come with experience. This championship shows that they can play one game well, another poorly. And this is normal for players of that age," the coach said.
