One of the fan movements of Bayern Munich is initiating a boycott of the away match of the 6th round of the group stage of the Champions League against Shakhtar due to high ticket prices. This is reported by Bild.
It is reported that the cheapest ticket for Bayern fans for standing places costs 52 euros, while for seated ones it is 105 euros. Among the fans' arguments: ticket prices for Atalanta and Young Boys were three times lower at the same venue in Gelsenkirchen, where Shakhtar plays its home matches.
It is known that this call has been supported by about 36,000 fans who have already canceled their ticket purchase requests. Out of 55,000 applications, only 19,000 remain at the moment.
Recalling, the Champions League match Shakhtar vs. Bayern will take place on December 10 in Gelsenkirchen.
