The Catalan «Barcelona», under the management of Hans-Dieter Flick, has updated the club record for the number of goals in the first 16 matches of the season across all competitions, reports the statistical portal Opta Sport.
According to the source, the «blaugrana» currently have 55 goals, which is the best result in the history of the Catalans. Previously, the record of 54 goals from the first 16 matches held for 74 years and was set by Slovak coach Ferdinand Daučík (season 1950/1951).
