Spanish forward Alvaro Morata was taken to the hospital for precautionary examinations after a training session with Milan.

According to Sky Sport Italia, the 32-year-old footballer sustained a head injury during the team’s training on Thursday. The forward for the 'rossoneri' was injured following an aerial duel with central defender Strahinja Pavlovic.

Morata is expected to remain under medical observation, which means he will miss Milan's upcoming trip to Cagliari for the match of the 12th round of the Italian championship.
